I’m at a crossroads, CopyLEFT (GPL/AGPL) ensures that code remains open while CopyRIGHT, in this case BSD/MIT, is basically free-for-all.
These two ideologies don’t mix as well as you’d expect.
I vibe coded WebVG and gave it the AGPL license but considering how a large part of the code was generated by LLMs doesn’t that mean that it is public domain code?
In comparison the licenses have a very different size so maybe I’ll go for the shorter one. I changed the license for WebVG, now it’s more in line with what I got planned for the future.
