Here’s an interesting tidbit of information; What did I last install using apt-get? AskUbuntu had an entry aabout it.
awk '$3~/^install$/ {print $4;}' /var/log/dpkg.log
Gave me just what I needed.
ncdu:amd64
I knew it was du (disk usage) something, NCDU is a handy tool to see where the disk space is used,
In other news I finally found what I wanted from Friction Graphics although I have no idea how to do it.
The shortcuts must have changed and I see no mention of Raster Animation in its documentation,
the video is about Enve, Friction Graphics is a fork so it should probably have the same feature.
I’ll have to check its source.
